A New Chapter Begins
The new year marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for The Ancient Mariner Inn. We know many of you have been waiting patiently for time and attention to be spent on this special place – and we are pleased to say that the time has come.
The Ancient Mariner Inn is currently closed for a full refurbishment, reopening in spring 2026.
Rest assured that all the charm and character will be preserved. The stories will stay the same, the sea will still be right where it’s always been – it’s just time for a well-deserved update.
